Meaning
The core meaning of “panoptic” is “an all-encompassing view”. This fit
perfectly into our ideal of what theatre should be; a medium for the
exploration of the human experience and the presentation of a view of that
experience that considers all of its parts and elements.
Mission
To explore the human experience through theatre.
To present a panoramic view of humanity through collaborations with
artists of diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
To create experiences that entertain, inspire and challenge our audiences.
To produce innovative works that attract loyal theater-goers and reach out
to audiences whom theater is rarely geared.
And most importantly, to present works about real people having real talk
about real issues.
